Most people think the worst time of the year is the middle winter, where no sun shines and peaks of snow cover anything. But you know better. No, it’s the wicked time when a bitter autumn is giving into the frigid winter. It's a time when days are short and gloomy, nights dark with no snow to brighten any of. The cold grips itself tightly into your bones and torrents of rain makes sure you’re wet too. 

It’s this time of the year when you get the most visitors. You are the keeper of a small hut, pirtti, next to the great, dark lake. Your family has always kept it warm and ready for weary wanderers, as long as they give a bit of a help in return. Some food, help keeping places clean and sauna warm. It’s simple living, harsh sometimes. Especially because not everyone that comes to your door is what they seem…

TUTORIAL:

Survive 7 days to win. In the morning you can choose to invite people into your cabin, in the day you can click on them to assign them to tasks. They need to chop firewood to keep the cabin warm, gather food to feed eachother and they need to clean the cabin to keep it tidy.

Some of your guests are creatures of Finnish folklore in disguise. They can be very helpful, but can become angered if their particular preferences are not met. Consult the book on creatures of finnish folklore on your table to identify potential supernatural beings living under your roof and adjust your hospitality accordingly.
